How we label information
- ConfirmedVerified against an official source. Source and date are shown on the record.
- ReportedReported by a credible outlet but not officially confirmed.
- Community discoveryDiscovered and submitted by the community. Treat as a strong lead.
- RumourCirculating, unverified, and labelled as such everywhere it appears.
- UnconfirmedNothing on record yet. Shown as NOT YET CONFIRMED rather than guessed.
Labels are applied per field, not per page — a vehicle can have a confirmed price and a rumoured top speed.
Comedy
What is deliberately not real
VICEFAX™ reports, the Heat Index™, Today's Terrible Purchase and the personality quiz are original entertainment features written by us. They are never presented as game data, and they never change a vehicle's confirmed specification.
Automation
How the site keeps itself current
Rankings are generated from database fields, so they re-order themselves the moment a specification is verified. Daily features rotate automatically, and community submissions flow into a moderation queue rather than straight onto the page.
