Mesa
Canis · SUVs
The Mesa is the series' short-wheelbase off-roader: a boxy, upright two-door 4x4 with exposed hinges, a flat screen and none of the comfort of the larger SUVs. A Mesa-shaped off-roader has been identified in official Grand Theft Auto VI material, which fits a map that runs from city streets out into the Keys and the wetlands. Rockstar has not named the vehicle and has published no performance, price or location information for it, so this page covers what can be observed, where the Mesa has been before, and what its shape appears to be based on. Worth noting for anyone tracking identifications: the Mesa is easily confused with the larger, more modern off-roaders in the series, so we treat only the short two-door body as a Mesa and log anything longer separately.

GTA VI
GTA VI appearance
A compact, square-bodied off-roader consistent with the Mesa has been identified in official Grand Theft Auto VI material. The identification is based on the body shape alone; Rockstar has not named it.
Previous games
GTA history
The Mesa has appeared as the series' Jeep-style off-roader since the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas era and became a Canis product in Grand Theft Auto IV and V, where it ran in both civilian and rugged Merryweather-style forms. It has consistently been positioned as a cheap, durable rural vehicle rather than a performance car.
Historical information only. Nothing from earlier games is carried across as GTA VI data.
