Phantom
JoBuilt · Commercial
The Phantom is the series' conventional American semi tractor — the long-bonneted highway truck that pulls trailers in mission work and hauls freight through background traffic. Tractor units consistent with the Phantom have been identified in official Grand Theft Auto VI material, which matters more than it sounds: Leonida's interstates and port areas mean heavy freight is likely to be a visible part of the world. Rockstar has not named the vehicle, and nothing about its handling, availability or trailer options has been published. One practical note on identifying it: the Phantom is the long-bonneted conventional tractor, distinct from the flat-fronted cab-over trucks the series also runs, and that difference is usually the only thing a still frame gives you.

Previous games
GTA history
The Phantom arrived in Grand Theft Auto IV as JoBuilt's American highway tractor and continued through Grand Theft Auto V, where it appeared alongside the cab-over Packer and Hauler. Grand Theft Auto Online added the chromed Phantom Custom and the weaponised Phantom Wedge, though those are Online-specific machines rather than anything expected here.
