Shitzu Squalo
Shitzu · Boat
The Shitzu Squalo is officially named by Rockstar Games in the Grand Theft Auto VI screenshot library, under the caption "Shitzu Squalo 01". Both halves of the name have form in the series: Shitzu is an established in-universe marine and motorcycle marque, and the Squalo has been the brand's signature speedboat since Grand Theft Auto IV. For a game set in Leonida, with its coastline, inland waterways and canal-side property, a named Shitzu boat is one of the more significant vehicle confirmations so far. We treat it as watercraft throughout the database so that it is grouped and cross-linked with boats rather than cars.

GTA VI
GTA VI appearance
The official material confirms the name and shows a Squalo on the water. Rockstar has not published speed, handling, seating or availability figures, and we do not estimate them from a photograph. Whether the GTA VI Squalo is a redesign or a close evolution of the earlier boat is not something a single promotional still can settle.
Previous games
GTA history
The Squalo — Italian for "shark" — debuted as a Shitzu speedboat in Grand Theft Auto IV and returned in Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online, where it served as the mid-range planing speedboat between the small Dinghy and the larger cruisers. Shitzu's wider catalogue in earlier games spans marine craft and motorcycles including the Hakuchou. All of that describes previous titles; none of it should be read as a statement about the GTA VI version.
Historical information only. Nothing from earlier games is carried across as GTA VI data.
Design
Real-world inspiration
The Shitzu Squalo appears to draw inspiration from Earlier Squalo models have generally been compared to Mediterranean-style open sports boats rather than to one identifiable hull. Rockstar has never named a real-world basis, so this remains a cautious comparison only.. Rockstar Games has not confirmed any real-world basis, so this is an observation about the design rather than a licensed relationship.
