Banshee
Bravado · Sports
The Bravado Banshee is identifiable in the second GTA VI trailer as a two-door roadster, continuing an unbroken run that started in Grand Theft Auto III. It has always been the series' brash American answer to European exotics: enormous bonnet, tiny cabin, very little subtlety. In Vice City's spiritual home that reads less like a track weapon and more like something parked outside a beach bar with the roof down. We have recorded the trailer appearance as evidence of the model; we have not recorded any GTA VI performance numbers, because Rockstar has published none. Previous games gave the Banshee a reputation for being fast in a straight line and nervous everywhere else, but those are GTA V and GTA Online characteristics and we are explicitly not carrying them across. Whether the GTA VI car keeps the topless bodystyle as standard, or whether a hardtop variant also exists, is not yet established from official material.

GTA VI
GTA VI appearance
An open-topped, cab-rearward roadster consistent with the Banshee appears in official Grand Theft Auto VI material. The car has one of the most recognisable outlines in the series, which makes the identification reasonably firm, but Rockstar has not named it.
Previous games
GTA history
The Banshee dates back to Grand Theft Auto III and has been a Bravado product since Grand Theft Auto IV. Grand Theft Auto V added the hardtop Banshee 900R alongside the standard roadster; both kept the same long-bonnet, short-tail layout the car has always used.
Historical information only. Nothing from earlier games is carried across as GTA VI data.
Design
Real-world inspiration
The Banshee appears to draw inspiration from The design appears to take inspiration from the Dodge Viper — a long bonnet, a cab-rearward roadster stance and minimal overhangs have defined the Banshee since its first appearance.. Rockstar Games has not confirmed any real-world basis, so this is an observation about the design rather than a licensed relationship.
