Infernus
Pegassi · Sports
An Infernus Classic appears in the first GTA VI trailer, which puts the Pegassi wedge back on Leonida streets after a long career as the series' default poster supercar. The Infernus has been present since Grand Theft Auto III and has been redesigned repeatedly, but the Classic bodystyle deliberately returns to the sharp, scissor-doored 1980s look rather than the modern interpretation used in Grand Theft Auto V. That makes it a natural fit for a game built around neon, chrome and Florida excess. Rockstar has not published any GTA VI specification, price, availability or handling information for the Infernus, so those fields stay empty here. We are also not treating the trailer sighting as a guarantee of a drivable player vehicle — appearing in footage confirms the model exists in the build shown, not that you can buy one. What it does confirm is that the Pegassi name and the Infernus Classic shape are part of GTA VI's vehicle line-up as presented by Rockstar.

GTA VI
GTA VI appearance
A wedge-profiled supercar consistent with the Infernus has been identified in official Grand Theft Auto VI material. As with every unnamed car, the identification comes from the silhouette; Rockstar has published nothing about the car's specification, price or availability.
Previous games
GTA history
The Infernus has been the series' halo supercar since Grand Theft Auto III and has been redesigned repeatedly — the Grand Theft Auto IV car took a more contemporary shape, while Grand Theft Auto Online's Infernus Classic deliberately returned to the sharper, older wedge. It has spent twenty-five years as the car players aspire to steal rather than buy.
Historical information only. Nothing from earlier games is carried across as GTA VI data.
Design

The Infernus appears to draw inspiration from The design appears to take inspiration from Lamborghini's wedge-era supercars, most obviously the Countach and Diablo, which the Infernus Classic has referenced across several games.. Rockstar Games has not confirmed any real-world basis, so this is an observation about the design rather than a licensed relationship.
